directory path exists error

Hello Experts,

I am getting the below error

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection...

MessagingException: javax.resource.ResourceException: java.lang.Exception

<directory path>exists

Is it because of connectivity or path not found? But the error says that the directory path exists. Can you please guide me on the root cause of this error?

Thanks in advance,

Vikas

    Hi Vikas,

I think you are trying to create the file in target directory using receiver file adapter and the file already exist in the directory and you getting above error. You need to select Overwrite Existing File check box if you want to overwrite the file in target directory.

    Regards,

    Praveen.

    Thanks Praveen and Raghu.

Its a Proxy to SFTP scenario.

Praveen- Your explanation seems to be correct as the Overwrite button is not ticked in the receiver SFTP adapter. So it can be said that the root cause of this error is due to attempting to create the file with the same name, right? or can you verbalise if its partially correct.

    Thanks in advance

Can you close the question so that it will be helpful for whoever come across this in future, they can quickly find the answer without reading all the answers and guess which one could be the correct answer.
