how to load demo data in the ehs specification database of an IDES sytem

I remember from several years back that I was able to run a program or implement a note which created demo data in the ehs specification database. If I'm not mistaken, the data model was based on shampoo.

Unfortunately, I don't remember how I triggered the data creation and a search online does not help me further.

Can anyone here put me on track again? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You must have used *.dat files and imported them into the system using Specification Upload function. Please check the Tcode - CG3Z & CG33.

You must have your sample data in *.dat format, if you do not have one please check SAP Preconfigured scenarios for Chemicals and download sample CH* dat files and modify them for your requirement and load them into the system.

I wish I had taken notes back then on how I populated the data in the empty system.

The data model that I was able to load was the typical sample data you would use in courses sus310 and others.

If I remember/find out how I solved it, I will post the correct answer in this thread.

I am aware only of some example reports which are deliverd by SAP which should show the right use of the "BAPis"

In context of SVT i can remember as well a report to create "demo" data. But nor fotr EHS-BD area.

Thank you for the quick feedback.

What I was referring to was a program or a note that could be used on an IDES system to automatically generate data. This included a full dataset, including pure listed or pure substances, real substances, etc.

The purpose of this is merely to create meanignful data in a demo system so we can present basic EHS data models to the Client.

I don't know about the program exactly if it is one real_substance and pure_sub assignment we can do it manually or via OCC.

Which program are you talking about which will update Specification data base. You can also use BAPI_BUS_1077*** for load via FM.
