SE30 for a Background job

1296 Views

hi all,

i have a BDC batch job with a performance issue.

Since it is a BDC report, i have to click on windows each time i run the report online.

as there is a performance issue, i tried to do a runtime analysis using the same variants, but its not possible to complete the same.

is there any way i can do a run time analysis on a background job?

i tried to used "set analyzer on/off" command, but somehow it didnt work or i dont know how exactly it works...

i put those command lines at start and end of the report and checked SE30.. for if there are any files created by the name of report..

but there was no new file created...

so, please let me know

1. if run time analysis can be done on background job

2. how does "set analyser on/off" syntax works.
