Problem while generating the WWI Reports from Portal

Hi,

I have developed a RFC which will export the Binary data for the WWI Report. These Reports are part of Accident Reports in CBIG82.

I have used the FM 'C12H_WWI_DISPLAY_DIRECT' and the passing the following params.

CALL FUNCTION 'C12H_WWI_DISPLAY_DIRECT'

EXPORTING

i_wsappl = ls_drawdata-dappl

i_doc_filesize = lv_filesize

i_flg_wb_call = 'X'

  • IMPORTING

  • E_REPORT_SIZE =

TABLES

i_value_data_tab = lt_value_tab

i_document_data_tab = lt_document_data_tab

e_report_data_tab = e_report_data_tab.

Its working fine in SAP R/3 4.7 and IN ECC 6.0 its not working. I am getting the Write Source Document failed exception. Due ot the falg i_flg_wb_call = 'X', its going to WEBGUI and generating exception.

Please help me in this regard.

    Hello Prabakhar,

    For the variable I_FLG_WB_CALL default value is "FALSE" don't change that variable to "X". Try to call that FM without passing any value for that variable.

    Hope this answers your question.

    Thanks,

    Greetson

      Greetson,

      I am already passing the TRUE value and WEBGUI is called. In 4.7 its working and in ECC 6.0 there is an exception generating from WWI_GENERATE_AND_IMPORT2 which is called inside WEBGUI.

      I have replaced the WEBGUI code in ECC 6.0 with the same code of 4.7 by using Z function module but it still generating the same exception WRITE_SOURCE_DOC_FAILED.

      The WWI_GENERATE_AND_IMPORT2 get executed at the WWI server and we have no clue whats happening. Is it something related to the ITS server ? WEB GUI is not active?

      Thanks for your reply.
