I'm trying to install cr2008_fp1.exe. At some point in the installation, it's looking for CrystalReports.msi in Local Settings\Temp\RarSFX0\package. There is no such file in that directory (only a CrystalReports.msp).
So I popped in my 2008 install disk, and pointed it at the CrystalReports.msp found in the package directory of the CD. The following message appears:
The file 'D:\package\CrystalReports.msi' is not a valid installation package for the product Crystal Reports 2008. Try to find the installation package 'CrystalReports.msi' in a folder from which you can install Crystal Reports 2008.
So now I'm stuck. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Un-install the original CR 2008 and then download the full version of SP1. Sp2 is incremental so it will install over top of SP1.
Also, turn off DEP or set it to Essential Windows Services only

No one's seen this? And there are no BO techs lurking around here? I thought this was the new and improved support system?
