Downgrade a Webi report from 4.2 SP5 to 4.1 SP4?

Could anyone please let me know if there is anyway to downgrade a Webi report from 4.2 SP5 to 4.1 SP4? I have read that backward compatibility is not supported, but I would like to make sure if it is possible with any other tool.

The only way I see this possible is :
Open report in Webi rich client 4.2 SP5 and save as wid file to local drive without security
Copy the file to machine with Webi rich client 4.1 Sp4 and open in WRC, then save it into Platform.

p.s.
Not sure if it'll work as I have not tested this.
