Scheduled qty on PO can exceed line item quantity on PR

When we create a PO based on a PR, the system allows the buyer to increase the amount of the line item quantity by adding additional scheduled lines to Delivery Schedule for PO line item, therefore going over the line item quantity of the PR. Is there a system config to always make sure PO line item qty is equal to or less than PR line item qty or is custom code needed. See screen shot for example.

if you look closely at your 2nd schedule line then you can see that this schedule line does not even have a reference to the purchase requisition.

A standard program cannot just mix 2 different schedules together and compare it then with the requisition of one these schedule lines.

If both schedule lines have the same reference then it is just standard message customizing to ensure that the PR quantity is not exceeded. This part has been discussed some hundred times already.
