KSS2 cost not transferred to the receiver

Hi,

We are trying to distribute the cost from one cost center to another using KSS2. We have maintained the following.

1. Splitting structures in OKES

2. Splitting assignment in OKEW

3. KB31N to transfer to the cost to the activity type.

4. KB21N to transfer from the activity type in a cost center A to 2 activity types in a different cost center B.

When we execute KSS2, the cost in cost center A is transferred to the activity type. But the cost center B is not receiving any cost from cost center A through the secondary cost elements.

Please advise if any steps missing.

Hi Uzma,

Sorry for the confusion. We are performing the cost splitting into activities indeed.

In KB31N we maintain the activity type and SKF to which the actual posting of the cost center need to split into.

In KB21N we maintain the sender cost center, activity type and receiver cost center. So that the cost from the activity type of sender cost center will be split into the receiver cost centers.

Tcodes are not for the perpose as you are telling

KB31n for maintenance of SKF not for transferring cost.

KSS2 is for Cost splitting into activities of a cost center, not for cost transfer.
