Transporting SEM-BCS

Hi Gurus,

Can someone tell me if there is a guide for transporting SEM-BCS.

Someone knows how it is used UGMDTRANS table? Is it necessary to transport its contents before transporting request?

Hello Óscar,

First, you should check these SAP Notes:

FIN-SEM-BCS 627924 - Restrictions with transport in BW-based SEM-BCS

FIN-SEM-BCS 727063 - Troubleshooting for transports

Also, you need to allow for these SAP Notes:

FIN-FB-TR 644610 - Analysis of Transport Problems

FIN-FB-TR 912369 - FINB_TR_DEST, after import failures, transport errors

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask.

You do not have to transport the contents of UGMDTRANS table.

There are very few guide for BCS transport.

But you can refer to following link for BCS transports and that is what I gave to our BCS security people...
