Picking from warehouse for Consignment Fill Up

Dear Friends,

For the Consignment Fill Up flow , I am not able to create a transfer order for the delivery.

I am getting the below error :

Data for storage type search is not defined (A )

But from the same plant, I am able to do picking through transfer order for normal sales order.

Is there any specific setting that needs to be maintained for the Consignment Fill up flow with regard to warehouse setup.

Please advise.

Hi,

SPRO > MM > IM & PI > Stock Determination - Have you maintained the settings?

- Stock determionation group

- Stock determination rule

- Stock determination group (MARC-EPRIO) in material master

- Stock determination rule assigned: IM-mvt (601), Delivery item category, WM-mvt -601)

If all these are maintained and your WM search strategy is defined it should work - hopefully.

Under stock determination customizing there's a section for WM and I already told you what to do - assign the SD-rule to the mvt. If your outbound process is configured well (mvt 601 in IM & WM) then 601K should work as well after the settings I told you.

Hi,

I am not having any problem in doing Goods Issue from a Non Warehouse managed Storage Location.

So I don't feel that there is any problem in the 631 movement type customization for Consignment (601 being for Normal Sales), as mentioned under stock determination customizing.

The problem is in the determination of Storage Type while creating transfer order for Consignment Fill up.

Any Advise ?

I can't explain it better to you.... These settings are good for WM managed SLoc. Why cannot you understand it? Try these settings!

Dear Harsh,

I'm very sorry, I think I misunderstood your question.

1. You can do outbound delivery (picking+GI) from consignement stock.

2. You have problem when you want to create TO from TR that was created when goods arrived at your WH.

You said you cannot create TO. I guess you can create TO, your problem is that SAP can't find automatically into which bins to move the goods when you process the TR (are creating the TO). Please confirm it.

(you can give the destination storage typr/bin manually)

If your problem is this you can check your settings:

SPRO > LE > WM > Strategies > Storage Type Search (+ S. Section Search + S. Bin S.)

Here you can choose 'Determine search sequence' > Please select the relevant line, that you use for the putaway of normal goods > copy it and write 'K' in 'special stock indicator' field.

I do not know your settings but maybe this information can help you to start to resolve the problem you are facing.

After a lot of search and documentation, I maintained the search strategy for consignment and the problem was solved earlier.
