Changing background color

I wanted to change background color when I run my program. By default it is blue and i wanted to conver it in to white.... Please help me.....

Hi

To change the background color you can use theme editor by using Theme Editor you can do any background settings.

put your UI elements in a group and disable the headers and in the properties go to design and give sapcolour...

Hi ,

Insert a Transparent container under RootUIElementContainer and place all your UI elements in that container .

change the cellBackgroundDesign to Plain.

Hi ,

First Change the Layout of the RootUIElementContainer to Grid Layout , then you ill get that cellbackground design.

Change the cellBackgrounddesign of the new container.

Thank you very much it worked. But as i'm using tabstrip in my application so that i'm getting only that portion background in white color and the rest page is as it was. I just wanted to convert the full screen into the white color eg. http://google.com

I want that kind of white....

Try this:

RootElement <TransparentContainer, layout:GridLayout, width:100%, height:100%>

--SecondContainer <TransparentContainer, layout:FlowLayout, width:100%, height:100%, LayoutData<cellBackgroundDesign:plain, width:100%, height:100%>>

Build all other UI elements under the SecondContainer.

Thanks for ur answers.

But my requirement is to change the background colour of whole application into white which curently is light blue without using the portal(i cant use par file, dats the requirement actually)

How can i do that? Everything required in webdynpro only, no portal nothingalse
