Do you have access to the SAP Service Marketplace?

You can use the [Notes search|https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/support] and use the old KB article ID there (under the Help & Support tab).

1198235 - Error: "Could not retrieve the document with the passed obsolete token. (Error: RWI 00323) (Error: INF)" when drilling on a Web Intelligence Document.

    Symptom

A series of Web Intelligence reports can be drilled into using the OpenDocument function for hyperlinks. If you keep opening the new reports in new windows, you will eventually receive the following error message:

"Could not retrieve the document with the passed obsolete token."

    Cause

The system issues a token each time a new window is created and the server has run out of available tokens.

    Resolution

To achieve optimum performance, the developer should limit the number of new windows that can be opened using the OpenDocument function, particularly if using it within the drill function.

If you must open a new window each time, you can increase the number of document instances available on the system by modifying parameters in the webi.properties file:

    1. On the Business Objects server, navigate to the following directory:

    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat\webapps\businessobjects\enterprise115\desktoplaunch\WEB-INF\classes

    2. Open the webi.properties file using a text editor.

    3. Uncomment the FAILOVER_SIZE=10 line by removing the # from the beginning of the line.

    4. After FAILOVER_SIZE, add the following:

    STORAGE_TOKEN_STACK_SIZE=40

    5. Save the file.

    6. Restart the application server.

I'm experiencing the same issue but in BO XI3.1. To solve this issue in XIR2 you can modify the webi.properties file located in "Tomcat...enterprise115\Desktoplaunch\WEB-INF\classes" but in XI3.1 I don't have that location. I found that file in Analytical and Reporting, Business Process BI and dsws2. I change the values in every single one but I still having the problem. I'm not sure if those file are used. There is a parameter in those files to use C:\Temp directory to store the tokens but after I made the change there is nothing in the temp folder. Could yo uplease let me know the solution for this issue using XI3.1.

      Thanks,

      Luigi
