notification error

hi all,

i have two questions...

1.i want to hide the create icon of order in notification for a particular notification type.

2.i want to greyout the status profile selection field in system status in notifications...

Hi,

Procedure/steps

1. On the Customizing: Execute Project screen, choose Set Screen Templates for the Notification Type.

2. Position your cursor on the Notification type field, then choose the F4 input help.

3. Select the entry M4(EX) , then choose .

4. Choose .

5. Choose New Entries.

6. Position your cursor on the Tab field, then choose the F4 input help.

7. Select the entry 10\TAB01 Notification 1, then choose .

8. Enter the following data:

Field Data Description

Tab header Notification Name of the tab page

Tab Select

9. Position your cursor on the Icon field, then choose the F4 input help.

10. Position your cursor on the icon ICON_HEADER, then choose . +(This u have to removed)+

Hi,

1. To hide the create order for notification type say M1 do the following:

goto SPRO-PMCS-Maintenance and Service Processing - Maintenance and Service Notifications - Notification creation - Notification types - Set field selection for Notification types - Field Selection for Maintenance Notifications (T code OIAL).

In that screen select Influencing button, it will take you to the new screen there you double click on Notification type it will come back to the previous screen, the cursor will blink in Content field ther you select the notification type say M1, then in the field selection in the below screen choose the filed

Then save it.

2. Regarding the grayout of the status field in the notification, in standard field settings it is not available, to achieve that you use user exit for the notification.

Have you had a look at the field-selection settings for notifications? Remember to set the influencing factors by notification type .

Hi,

For removing the icon tab it is there in the notification type creation tab just check & remove the setting from header tabs there u will get the dropdown for diff icons too.

Regarding ststus profile remove the status profle assigned to the notification type it is at the order/notification node.

Both settings are there in the SPRO.

Hi,

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Maintenance and Service Processing->Maintenance and Service Notifications->Notification Creation->Notification Types->Set Field Selection for Notifications

Execute that transaction

Field Selection for Maintenance Notifications

Press influencing ang you will find following list,

Activity category

Application

Catalog profile

Notification origin

Notification type

Priority

Transaction Code

Double click on Notification type and select ur notification type do the required settings.
