Can somebody explain me what is this It0032 used for and its usage?

Whats the importance of that Infotype?

In the Internal Control infotype (0032), you can store the employeeu2019s internal control data.

Company Car

Data on the Car regulation and Car value is evaluated in the German payroll for calculating the imputed income for the private use of a company car.

In Switzerland, the field Car regulation controls the company car data on the wage statement.

You can use the Car Search List report to create a list of car license plate numbers.

Work center

You can create an internal telephone book using the report RPLTEL00 (Telephone Directory). This report evaluates the fields building number, room number, and in-house telephone number.

IT0032 is primarily used to store a old personnel no. Before implementation of SAP the company could have been following a different numbering convention. Lets say an employee has the number 123456. On implementation when the data of the employee is loaded into SAP, SAP generates a PERNR which later become the personnel no (lets say 5678).

so for the pernr 5678, IT0032 will store the old employee no 123456.

In addition to this, IT0032 also has a link to Communications infotype (IT0105), which will store all his user names, phone nos, email IDs, etc.

Employee Identification

As a result of having implemented the SAP Human Resources system, the employee's personnel number might have changed.

Enter the personnel number that was assigned to the employee before the SAP system was implemented

Company Car

The car taxation regulation is country-specific

Work Center

Enter the number of the building and room number in which the employee works.

You can enter two five-digit in-house telephone numbers for the employee.
