Hello Community!
We are using SAP GUI 7.10 on Citrix and we don't want to offer the users too many buttons.
So here is the question:
Is it possible to start the Saplgpad.exe instead of saplogon.exe if a GUI application is called in the portal?
I already checked out note 844095, without success.
The "ugly" workaround is to rename saplgpad.exe into saplogon.exe, but we are looking for a regular way.
The alternative way to configure "noeditfunctionality=1" in the saplogon.ini is okay, but we have some ini-files, so it would be a lot of administrative work and mistakes are possible.
Do you have any experiences with this topic?
Kind regards
Michael
Hello Michael,
this setting is done on the PC / WTS in the registry.
Try to adjust the settings under:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{83658045-6571-3232-7082-797884697869}\LocalServer32
and redirect here not to saplogon.exe, but to saplgpad.exe.
Kind regards, Martin

Hello. Can you say where in portal you call saplogon.exe and what "many buttons" you need to disable.
