SAP MDG Data Import Framework for custom entities

Hi All,

We had extended the MM by some custom type 4 entities for the which the data is stored z-tables. We have also extended the corresponding idoc type 'MATMAS05'.

The problem here is that when we load the data from a csv file using SAP MDG DIF (Business activity MATB), data from the file not written in the custom entity in staging though we have kept the governance flag ON and prory_persistance is set as '1'.

Instead the converter BADI is called and data from active area is written to staging tables.

I'm not sure if DIF can be used for custom objects (custom entities). Request you to guide us if i'm missing something.

Please note, DIF is working for material change which includes custom attributes.

Hi Experts,

We have also implemented customer exit 'EXIT_SAPLMV02_002' to add custom fields like chapter id and implicit enhancement Implementation - ZMDG_INBOUND_CUSTOM. to add the data to the staging area of CR. Any help would be appreciated.
