Can we develop a Customized Credit Note in SE38?

Dear Friends,

I have been assigned the development of a customized credit note for the company but I am not very much comfortable with SapScript.

Can I or should I opt for SE38 for this development instead of sapscript and further I wish to know is there any standard credit note sapscript available in SAP?
