billing schema

Dear forum community,

My company is proposing a new tariff structure. One particular type of customers will be charged differently according to their consumption amount.

The structure is quite similiar (not exactly the same amt) to the following.

If consumption amt < 300 kwh,

first 200(0 to 200) units is charged 0.20 cents

remaining units is charged .40 cents

else

if consumption > 300 kwh

first 300 (0 to 300) units is charged .50 cents

next 100 units is charged .60 cents

next 100 units is charged .70 cents

remaining units is charged .80 cents

Where do I set the 'if < 300' condition? Is it at the Schema Steps, Variant programs, etc.

Thanks.

hi,

You can have block type in your price type.

Use 2 differenct prices and use the same in Schema steps with if condions (< and > 300) along with your variant program.

Regards,

Siva
