Desktop Intelligence license key

Dear experts,

I facing some problem to login Desktop Intelligence as error showing that:

Internal Problem

[repoproxy 48] SessionFacde::checkLicenses - the current user hasn't got the rights to use this application_

Did the BO version I had purchased not support Desktop Intelligence?

BO license I had is "BusinessObjects Enterprise Professional XI R2 Windows Named User License"

Please help ! Thanks a lot...

I recommend you talk to your sales rep.

We are facing the same problem, but on having talked with the BO support it appears that we might have the incorrect license keys. They are still looking into the problem.

Also in one of the other post on this form someone has already mentioned that many licenses purchased in 2006-2007 had corrupted license keys.

Your issue might also be the same.

Infact for us, even the designer gave the same error but on installing the SP2, Designer started working.

So defintely appears that there is something wrong with the keys,

And i don't think its true that Desktop intelligence doesn't work with XI R2. I already have worked on DESKI with XI R2.

Try to contact the BO Support. They are really helpful
