Crystal Reports XI R2 Server SP1-?

A few weeks ago I purchased the developer version of Crystal Reports XI. I installed the client and it's working great. Recently I started working with the server part of it. I've had some issues that I won't go into with this post, but instead would like to try and upgrade it with the most recent patches.

I've tried using

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/businessobjects-downloads

and when I select: Crystal Reports Server, and then XI Release 2 and click search I get 3 files:

a webinar and 2 files that say client only and nothing about service packs.( BO XI R2 (Win) - Fix Pack 2.6 client only)

Before this site changed over I was able to grab SP2 which I believe was 2 compressed executables that when ran decompressed into 1 folder. I can't seem to find anything like that anymore. Am I just searching wrong?

Thanks,

Matthew

Thank you for the response Ludek. For some reason it comes up with a login, even though I'm logged into the site and can download files from the download location.

Can you tell me how you found that file? If you see that in the download section, and I don't... maybe there's some reason I can only get to certain files?

Cr Server SP2 install should be able to be downloaded here:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/communitycs/FilesAndUpdates/boXIwin_sp2.zip?recDnlReq=R...

At least for a while while we are updating our download pages.

Sorry for the inconvenience there have been unexpected issues during the support changes that we are working on.

I'm able to download that one. Thanks.

However I can't install that without SP1 right? I'm downloading it now and will try it, but I'm pretty sure that was the case.

I also believe there is more Service Packs and Hot Fixes since SP2 for Crystal Server right?

Hi Here is SP1:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/communitycs/FilesAndUpdates/boxiwin_sp1.zip

And SP4 should be able to be installed right over top of SP2:

http://resources.businessobjects.com/support/communitycs/FilesAndUpdates/boXIwin_sp4.zip

Hope this gets you going, let us know!

The link for SP2 and SP4 work fine, but SP1 doesn't work. I thought maybe the it was case sensative so I tried a few variations of the file name in the link, but can't get it to go.

That didn't work either. It just goes to a webpage that says:

"The system cannot find the file specified. "

Yes sorry posted that too fast.

At this point this file is not available for downloading. I am investigating if there are other ways to get this to you, until then you will need to be patient until this is either fixed or I find a new method.

Thanks for looking into it.

I've seen other threads where people are able to see and download those patches from the regular download location. The first link posted here is from that... however I have to put in a username and password. Is there a reason I'm only seeing certain downloads or are they gone for everyone now?

Just curious and trying to help solve the problem for others that might run into this.

Currently Service Packs and Hot Fixes that are tagged as Business Objects Enterprise are for policy reasons "gated" and only available for Enterprise customers to download if they have a valid SUser ID.

The problem is Crystal Reports Server uses the Enteprise hotfix and generally CR Server users will not have an SUser ID to logon to get this. We are in the process of ungating these files so they are avaialble on the public site. In the mean time I am working on an alternative download for you.

Kind Regards,

Trevor

I have made this available by FTP, it will be available for approximately three weeks. Due to limitations on our FTP server I have split the file into three parts using a free archiver called 7-ZIP available at:

http://www.7-zip.org/

The FTP download information is as follows:

https://sapmats-us.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=UKS9UDRFPCDMCBED1S0CXDRUUXPEK2VB7GL1RN1OXNYH4E...

https://sapmats-us.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=OVENEPQMMBYIF3ZTRW589PDAW18INUHXH3M6GW8U6DYU8H...

https://sapmats-us.sap-ag.de/download/download.cgi?id=70RDX5UB7DS61DV6OT46BWIAJPXJAKS9ADLSD8ZMLGH22H...

Please let me know if this works for you.

That worked great. thanks for linking all those and uploading the needed one.

As an aside... I prefer to use a program called Izarc for all my zipping/unzipping/multi file needs.

http://www.izarc.org and it's free too.

Thanks again!
