Authorization in CV04N

Hi,

I would like authorization in CV04N transaction while searching document.

User can search only those documents on which they have authorization. I would like authorization based on document type or class.

User can see the search list of those document types on which they have authorization.

Is there any standard object ? If no the Is it possible through development ?

This is not available standard but you can insert it as an enhancement.

You will need to remember to insert this in matchcode searches as well or the user will still be able to search for documents via matchcode search in CV01N, CV02N and CV03N as well.

u can create role based on document type. and give that role to user id

Hi Sunny,

You can get authorization for CV04N for all the users from your basis people.Authorization for CV04N will help in finding all the documents as per the parameters u enter.

I think as usual all the users can search all documents once getting authorization to CV04N.
