About Task Requested Start

Hello all.

I've found a very useful answer in which the use of a wait step is recommended setting the requested start tab in a task with the time we need to delay the step, and then continue the WF. My doubt is: which is the "Refer.date/time" correct setting?, because there are "work item creation", "workflow creation", "expression" and "No deadline monitoring active". Right now i'm using "workflow creation" since for this particular case, i'm using an empty step that doesn´t generates a work item but nothing happens after the WF launch.

Hope you guys can help me.

Regards IA

A task will always execute a method. May be in the method you put a method that does nothing and make sure it should be a background one. I remember I used Wait Upto 1 second code here.

Hello Arghadip

AMF i'm using a background task (TS30001179), as kindly Mike Pokraka recommended on that answer i'm referring to, but as i said, the task is not executed after the time i've set. I know there is an additional time for the execution of the task, but i've wait even 15 minutes and nothing.

Check your SWU3 settings here the deadline related nodes should be properly configured. In order to know more on this you can search the forum.

Thanks
