Net Value change in R/3

Former Member

Hey Everyone!

I have a custom extractor with net value NETWR. I see that in the table in R/3 for example the value is 104 but when extracting into BW (in PSA), I see the value changed to 1.04

So it is dividing the value by 100 which it should not be doing.

I checked the User exits in CMOD (ZXRSAU01) but did not find any code related to this particular change.

Are there more places which I should check, or any code written some place else that could be responsible for it?

Any insights would be of great help.

Thankx

Kumar.

Hello,

in which currency is the net value stored? If for exmpale in JPY, then it is correct. Because JPY has no decimal places (like e.g. Cent in case of EURO). later in Reporting, the system shows the correct value 104 instead of 1.04.

Thank Andre!

Thats exactly I found from my analysis too. It is JPY.

But in the reporting it still shows as 1.04

Any clues why it is not doing that?

One more doubt. When the R3 system changes the JPY to decimal (from 104 to 1.04) ...

a) Should it feeds the BW system with 1.04 and later the BW systemconverts it when reporting is done to 104.

or

b) Should it feeds the BW system with 104, that means the R3 system converting the value back at extraction point itself, so there should be right value in the BW system.

Hello,

Point a) is correct. If the value in reporting is also incorrect. Check your entries in table TCURX (decimal places of currencies). There should be an entry like JPY decimal places 0.

Awesome!

You Rock man.

I just checked the TCURX table and did not see an entry for JPY. I bet, this is the reason the BW system is not converting the value 1.04 JPY to 104 JPY.

Full points awarded

Thankx!!!!!
