How to install/configure .NET Connector

Hi all

I have to install/configure SAP .NET Connector in a Windows 2000. I installed the SAP .NET Connector and having trouble in finding any information to do the required configuration.

Any information would help.

What version of visual studio are you using?

Is it 2003 or something else? If you use an add-on named Softwise SAP Explorer, then you wouldn't need to configure any connector.

Please review my older reply about that add-on. It's a tool you can rely on, without having to do difficult configuration.

HI Rahul,

It does not require any configuration post installation. If the installation was successful then you should be able to see the SAP node in server explorer window of your VS 2003. Just right click on it, enter the user credentials and that's it.

Do write back if need any more info.

are you using that machine as a development machine or as a server?
