Hi Experts,

In REM MTS scenario with strategy 40 I want to use one tool for perticuler product on production line. Whether i should create it as equipment PRT and assign it in routing to operation. Then question is if i assign to operation, how to get the information about PRT in planned order of that product.

If am making mistake, please guide me step by step for PRT assignment and to know the requirement of PRT for planned order.

Hi Milind,

You need to select all equipments (PRT) for a routing operation

Look at table CRVE_A "Assignment PRT data - equipment", it establishes a link CRID (OBJTY OBJID) -> EQUI (EQUNR)

EAPL "Allocation of task lists to pieces of equipment"

To know the availability of PRT then you need to mark in availability check including PRT.
