when we create alerts, we have options for how often the alerts should be prompted.
I have some doubts regarding the same:
1) if the frequency is given as every minute, does that mean, the alert will fire the query every minute and if it has recordcount greater than zero, it will be prompted?
2) by any means, can we customize this frequency? I mean, instead of triggering the alert at the given frequency, can it be triggered when a particular table has entries meeting some specific criteria? for example, we can define an alert to determine if incoming payments entries are made for which the docduedate in A/R invoice have been crossed, but instead of triggering this alert at a predetermined frequency like every minute or hour, can not it be triggered only when such entries are made in incoming payments?
the trick is to define such query, but how?
