Workitem Status 'SELECTED' can't be processed

Hey,

Our customer got a problem that he has a task in his inbox. But in browser application he can't work with the task for some reason.

I check his inbox and the workitem which belong to the task. The WI is in status 'SELECTED' and the customer is the person in charge.

Can anybody tell me what the status 'SELECTED' means or maybe even why the customer isn't able to work with the task?

In this Link I couldn't even find the 'SELECTED'-status.

SELECTED is an internal status. One trick to reset the item is to use SE37, FM SAP_WAPI_SET_WORKITEM_STATUS to change it to ERROR. Then use SWI2_DIAG to restart it.
