Batch Split in MB1A

Dear Friends,

Please let me know... whether can we do the batch splitting & Batch determination in the transaction MB1A (to production order movement 261). If Yes... How can we do it.

I know that after doing the component splitting in the production order... system will propose it in MB1A. But if I am not doing in the production order... is it possible to do in MB1A?
