Cost Center Availability.

Hello,

I have checked one Cost Center XXXXXXXXXX by Using KS03 Where that Cost Center is available for Company Code:0318.When I have Checked the Same Cost Center in ME23N,I see that Cost Center is also available for few other Company Codes like 0071.

So,I need Clarification that:

1) Cost Centers are unique to a single Company Code or they can also be extended to other Company Codes also.

2) If they can be extended,my question is HOW?
