implication if component is still in QI during order releasing

hi all,

what is the implication if i release an order, and some components are still in QI stock? my client wants QI stock to be considered as available stock (OPJJ setting). is this a sensible setting?

Hi Obie,

Risky one boss!!!

You might be get in toruble in case of Stock gets stuck in Quality Testing.

So better move will be first check Historical data , if % of Failure is negligible then ___.

so what do i do before releasing? client wants to produce this way..my concern is that a user might release the order even if it is still in QI

Hi Obie,

Don't set (tick) Quality Stock under Avaibility check (OPJJ)

But you can do one thing go to OPJK.

And in the Material Avaibility screen tick 1 User Decides on release if part are Missing.(So there is control from System side and let user decides what to do.)
