Set up time for group of planned order in REM

Hi all experts,

I am having scenario of REM MTS with strategy 40. I am using work center as production line. There are 2 products which are to be planned in Planning scenarion. After MRP run i gets Planned order for both the raw material as not yet asigned. Then I distribute them on Production line based on capacity availability. Now I want set up time of one day for all planned orders of one product. Scenario is we require set up time of one day before we start the production. then we cantinue the production till all planned order quantity for one product. Then we switch over to other production of other product. Question how to get 1 day set up time for a group of planned order of one product.

For this I set 1 day as the set up time in routing. and maintained a formula SAPR01= set up time(SAP_R1) for set up time requirement and formula for Production time SAPR02 =( Production timeSAP_R2 * Production quantitySAP_09) / Base quantity SAP_08 in work center sceduling view. In capacity view, Processing time SAPR06 = SAP_R2* SAP_09/ SAP_08.

Can some one give suggestion how to set i day set up time collectively for all planned order on one product.

This doesn't solve the problem. if there are more than 2 products and we don't know the sequence then this doesn' work.

you can create two routings.

1. first one with set up time and

2. second routing with out giving set up time.

For first time when you are making planned order or production order use first routing and from next time you can use second routing.

Think in this way.

I forgot to add one point in above message, After setting as per above system creates set up time for all planned order. I want system to create set up time of one day only for all planned order sothat production will continue
