Instance reached state SHUTDOWN after having state STARTING

I am installing BW (NetWeaver 2004 S R2), something I've made before, but I'm facing a problem in this, something that I can not get to solve the "Start Instance" I am introducing this following message

"Instance reached state SHUTDOWN after having state STARTING"

Data Base SQL Server 2000

OS Windows 2003 Server Servipack 2

this happens during the installation process!
