DTW - not installed

Hello - I finished my templates and went to import via DTW and it is not there.

How do you install DTW? Rerun setup for B1?

The installation is easy. You can install it directly using setup.exe that available in the folder packages --> data transfer workbench.

you do not need to rerun setup for B1. you could use DTW setup.exe directly from the packages folder. IF you want to upgrade the DTW patch level, you must uninstall old version and install the new version from DTW folder in package folder.

I have never installed a patch (this is a clean install) and I cannot locate the setup files for DTW.

Where to next?

DTW would be available in the following folder

Packages\Data Transfer Workbench

in the Patch zip file that is downloaded from SAP Portal

If you are trying this from a Client PC you need to install DTW. Optionally you can login to the Server and install DTW there.

If you have installed Patches on B1, you can find the DTW in the Packages folder inside your Patch folder
