Planned Order conversion to Production Order and subsequent docs

Helo Folks,

I have issue were the planned orders via background job gets converted to production orders periodically , which works fine , but then when the production orders are created automatically purchase req for externally procured components needed for the production order gets created and POu2019s are released. The issue is delivery time of the components from the vendor to plant is around 20 days and when my production starts , we donu2019t have them at hand and we need to wait for the

components. Were do we need to make changes so that I get my material on time when production starts at the plant.

Hi,

You need to define your planned delivery time and GR processing time, sch margin key accordingly in material master for every material. And in scheduling parameter of order (OPU3) define adjust date --adjust basic date, adjust dept reqt to order start.
