Hi
Looking for assistance in solving two issues - these relate to SRM - SUS on version 4.0.
Issue 1 - Replication of Vendors - We use BD14 to replicate vendors to our SUS system. On replication an email is sent out from the Portal informing the vendor on the replication and also provides a link for self-creation of users. Our process is that all users are to be created centrally by the security team and am hence trying to suppress this message. One method would be to remove the email address from the vendor master prior to replication. But is there any other smarter way.
Issue 2 - While creating PO's and sending them to the SUS system, an email is sent out with a link to the Document. I am looking to modify the body of the email and can't seem to find a way or path leading to this. Please can somebody explain how the notification works. Is there a way of changing the subject depending on whether the PO has been amended or new ?
Appreciate your responses.
thanks
Ajay

Thanks a lot - Appreciate all the assistance you have all provided.
The tcode SE61 with parameters - Document class - General Text & Language - En.
can be used to amend the texts relating to the notification(Object - BBP_SUS_SUP_NOTIFICATION). Managed to determine this via the Function module "BBP_SUS_NOTIFICATION_SEND"> These enteries are held in the DOKTL table.

1) the option of not maintaining e_mail id may not work....
e_mail id is mandatory field --> and if it is not maintained --> system will return error messages in XML message.
you have to look for other options...
2) function module -->BBP_SUS_NOTIFICATION_SEND --> is used for sending notifications --> in SUS.
in this function module --> there is function
DOCU_GET --> which gets the --> text for the mail
test the function module --> DOCU_GET -->
with inputs --> for
id = 'TX'
langu = EN
object = BBP_SUS_SUP_NOTIFICATION
and execute --> you will get the result --> in table LINE.

Hi Ajay,
1. If you do not want to send the notification of registration (that is, the e-mail with the registration number)
to a supplier, select No Notification of Registration in "Make settings for business partner". Path is
SPRO --> SRM --> SUS --> Master data --> "Make Settings for Business Partner".
2. User Badi BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF

2- not having system now so can not give you exact names.
But there should be the smart form for the e-mail which is being sent.
You can customize this smartform to use own text.
Pl search for BADI in SUS which will give control for this forrm
