CBS Server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server

Hi,

I am trying to activate a activity in the open activities tab in NWDI.But when I try to to checkin and activate I am getting this error:CBS Server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server.

Can someone please suggest how to activate the activities in NWDS.
