I get sent a report every month from a collegaue detailling all parts with a new requirment/call off for a specific date e.g 01/03/2019. However is there a report that does the reverse, so shows all the "run out" parts, those with no requirments for the same date?

Thanks in advance

Emily,

Though I cannot think of a standard report showing the absence of requirements for a specific day, it would help to have more context. What do you do with the existing report, and what would you do with the reverse report. The requirements are against an inventory and/or are used for planning, e.g. MRP? They are coming from Orders (Sales, Production, Maintenance)? More information in the existing report would be helpful (Transaction Code, Report Program or Name).

I believe it is for MRP, They have requirments in terms of being used on the production. So it allows me to see what new parts are being used from say June. So ideally I'd like a report that shows which parts are becoming "obsolete" in June.

Emily,

OK, the existing report is an MRP Run for Production. Might be transaction MD06, MD07, or MD04. These transactions (and similar ones) are based on "Exceptions", which highlight potential issues. You might get you what you want in the same place with different filtering criteria.

Try tagging this with PP (Production Planning) or MRP. That will reach more with people with the specific knowledge.
