Asset life changed

Hi

Currently we are using Straight line method and defined percentage.

We have to increase the useful life of a few assets (asset class) from 10 years to 15 and reduce certain assets from 10 to 6. The depreciation should go by remaining life of the asset. I created a new Dep Key by copying LINA and changed in the asset master along with increased Life of the asset. But system is not calculating correctly. Ideally system should start calculating from WDV = (APC value - accumulated dep) from 01.04.2018 which is not happening correctly.

If the life is increased from 10 years to 15 years, and where 4 years have already been expired, then system should consider 15 years - 4 years = 11 years left over life, and the WDV as on 5th year beginning.

Any suggestion will be highly helpful

Can you tick the option Remaining Life in AFAMS (Multilevel Method) and try?
