Selection screen not coming up in Portal for Query view

Hi,

I have a query view in Query designer which is also executed in Portal by assigning it to a Role. The user will login with his User id and he will be seeing this report. Similarly, there are some other Queries assigned in the same way. The problem is for the query view alone, the selection screen is not coming up in the Portal. When i click on that report in portal, it automatically displays the output without showing the selection screen. But, the same query view is showing up the selection screen in Query Designer. For the Queries, i could see the selection screen in both Query Designer & Portal, only for the Query views i am getting this problem.

Is it like the selection screen wont appear for query views in portal or is it possible to make it appear?
