Consumables - GL account

Dear all,

While creating po, for consumables, what gl account should we give? in obyc, should we maintain automatic account assignment? if yes, what is the account key? please suggest.

Hi,

As you are maintaining the PO for Consumables, you will be direct consuming it. so it is required to be assigned to Cost Center or order or any other CO Object. As mentioned above, you can maintain the clearing account in WRX key and you can maintain the GL Account for Consumption in OBYC > GBB > VBR.

Hi,

For Consumables you assign GL A/c manually in PO and entry would be

Dr Consumable A/c

Cr Clearing A/c

This clearing account comes from OBYC Account key WRX
