Can anyone help me with transporting datasources:
I have transferred (activated) some datasources in SD in our R/3 system. Then i have chosen the option to 'transport datasource'. Nothing happens. When i have done this before, I was able to allocate the datasource to a transport request and have it transported through to our QA and Production systems.
I have allocated the datasource to a development class ZBWD through the object directory, (R3TR OSOA), but it makes no difference.
any ideas anyone?
Hi frnd,
I was unable to correctly interpret ur issue. But like to suggest few steps we follow to transfer that.
1)Create DataSource in R/3 and activate and transport thru object direct entry Or it will automatically ask for a request when you make changes.
2)After transporting to say Q,replicate the BI system in Q and verify ur DataSource has been replicated in BI.
3)Activate ur DataSource in BI.
Hope it helps

To to System Change Object Directory Entry and then save the Package name and after that you will be prompted to enter the request number
Thanks
