Hi All.

Can anybody tell me what is the difference between

1. EX - Lot for Lot order quantity

2. FS - Fixing and Splitting.

3. FX - Fixed ordre quantity.

Plz. explain it in etail and when when we use which lot size.

EX - exact lot size, SAP calculates the exact quantity that is needed. (requirement minus available stock) as the order quantity in the case of a material shortage.

FX - SAP will use the fixed order quantity entered in your material master as order quantity.

FS - SAP uses the fixed order quantity entered in your material master, split this quantity by the value entered in field rounding value.
