Regarding price change in service

hi all,

we r creating external services using service packages and after relese PR is generated and PO is created.Now if we want to change price of service in MO tht field is greyed out... i want to how to change the price of service package used in the operation....

Hi Kolla,

After creation of PO u want system should allow u to change the po qty / price. As std buiness practice it is to be addressed in different manner as amendment to PO.

There is a user exit in the system

COZF0001 & COZF0002 Change purchase req. for externally procured operation / component which activates the PR changes to concern persons for making corrective action against the requirements. Here in your case it may be purchaser

Logically if you are using work flow then shoot a mail to purcahser in case of change in PR.

I hope by doing these changes u make the process correct & robust.

hi ramesh,

actually we have used workflow and after creation of PO for non-stock materials MO is allowing changes related to existing material quantity or price and the same is getting reflected in PR nd PO but for external operations with service packages after PO creation , we r not able to make changes to the service package..... how this can be achieved?

can you explain a bit more,ie after creating the PO for service package in PR you are not able to change the prices in MO or in service package itself

After PO creation , i am not able to change the price of the service package used directly from maintenance order , i dont want to access the condition records of the service package ....

hi pushpa,

have you selected the Model service specification for the maintenance order or the service master.

also whether the MSS category is service or plant maintenance .

we r using service master only nd for certain services we dont have any service master , we r entering text , quantity,rate . after po creation we r not able to change price of any of these,bcoz client wants all changes at Maintenance order level....

You can change the Gross price in the maintenance order operation detail screen .it is possible for service master or MSS .kindly check .

i think you are trying to change the Price available in the header External TAB ,try to change the price in the Gross price in the bottom of the screen

Hi Pushpa,

This is standard SAP functionality for external services. I hope your purchase requisition has to be released i.e. approved by someone before you could convert that into PO. Once the PR is released and converted in to PO, any change in gross price should be done either in PO line item or that line item for service in PO to be deleted first.

Once you have deleted the line item for service in PO, you can now change the gross price for service in MO, this price change gets automatically updated in the existing PR, then add this PR line item to the same PO in change mode or create a new PO.

Otherwise you need to use some user exit to make the change in gross price as suggested in this thread.
