BPS STS issue

dear experts,

I did the configurations of STS in Sandbox & only 3 status are working viz. 'set for processing & exit & release' but in Development 3 status are visible viz, 'set for processing & exit & release & reject, etc. why is that? can u pls revert on that

and, is there any extra settings needed for getting the automatic emails triggered when compared to sandbox.
