No of Licensed users exceeded

Hi there,

c, our client wished to get furhter more some users. so accordingly we proveided from SAP. Now during generation of tat licenses i got the above mentioned systme msg.

Previously they were with 4 Prf user noe increased to 6.

so during generation i mentioned the no to be 6.

i dont know whether there exists any new procedure for generating licenses in case if additional licenses were alloted to the same system?

Hi Zen,

The error normally occurs when the number of users exceeded the number of licenses requested.

In order to solve this problem follow the steps below:

1.- Determine how many users are already released and how many licensed users are in your system?

o Go to service.sap.com/sbo-licensekey.

o Request license key

o Select the relevant installation.

o Select "Contractual agreements" on the top right of the screen in your system details.

This displays your contractually licensed users and released users. If you exceed the number of the contractually licensed users, you will only receive a temporary license key for 14 days.

2.- Check whether you can reduce the number of released users or delete old systems(see SAP note 614911 and 596562).

Dear Zen,

The creation of new licenses takes some time in the SAP system. Please have a look in the "Contractula information" to confirm how many licenses the customer actually has.
