Dear Experts,

In the document flow, Sales order number is not displaying, as delivery is created with reference to Sales order.

Sales doc type: ZSCR

Delivery doc type: ZDLF

Billing doc type: ZSCE

When interacted with user the order number provided by him is” 40497”

Document Flow:

In Document Flow of Sales order # 40497 provided by User, Outbound delv# 6110005095 and Invoice # 72100315 is not displaying.

At Invoice Item level Sales order doc number is also blank.

Not sure, how you were checking the document flow. For information, once you execute VA02, system would, by default, consider the first line item for document flow (since the cursor would be placed at first line item). So you need to ensure, if at all you want to check for any specific line item, select that line item and check for document flow. Update here, still if you have issue.

It seems to me OP was not checking this at all. It says "provided by user". Looks suspiciously like OP is in charge of providing support for an SAP system and they've, essentially, just copy-pasted their ticket and now expect SCN to do their job. If it's not like that then expecting much more detail about troubleshooting would be reasonable IMHO.

Where is VBFA for the order? The original question is about the order but this is VBFA for delivery. And post VBUP table (for the order) while at it.

Apart from the checking at copy control-we doubt your delivery itself(Pl go to VL02n for this delivery number>>Double click on the delivery line item>>Check the predecessor data)-check the Reference doc,Ref Item,Ref type etc...

We doubt this delivery is created without referring the SO line item-Pl confirm..

Based on your Config you cant create the delivery without reference(SO required in your case)..But you can add the line items at delivery level based on your delivery Item category determination(VOV5)...check this

(Normally in our current system, if user enters the line item at delivery level-system will define 603 movement type(not 601)-as per our Schedule line category determinations and Movement types assigned for Delivery Item category+MRP type at MMR)

I hope you can add some materials at delivery line item level..Just check in your system.

(I seriously doubt your user initially used the option of VL01n with SO as reference>>Enter>>>then later he might have deleted the line items came from reference document>>but again added these lines in VL01n-Being a transaction of Creation--system cant track all these changes done by the user-May be some smart user)
