Hi All,
We are trying to run variances using KKS2 ,we are getting the following error.
No standard cost estimate for material MAT123456 in plant 0001 on 07/10/2008.
we had standard cost when we created production orders and when we received goods from production.later on some one deleted standard cost estimate for that material.now we want to calculate variances and settle and getting error.
any ideas, how can i solve this issue and help is appreciated and will assign full points.
Thanks,
Rau
Hi,
You can re-run standard cost estimate by CK11N and release it by CK24. Then try to calculate variance. I hope it will work

Hi Rau,
You have to ensure your costing is valid on the correct date for which the run of the variance calc is being done.
So if the period is in the past you may not be able to re-run CK11N for the required dates. In which case you would have to either suffer the problem for this period or create a costing with the earliest available date, and using a bespoke abap or directly update the tables manually to adjust the costing from date (e.g. KEKO-KADAT).
However this you would have to test fully to understand the implications (if any ) for your business.
