Is it possible to ditch the SAP Portal and use NWBC to view your training activities, and therefore also launch eLearning training?
Thanks!
Shaun
Thanks John. We are potentially looking to decommission our SAP Portal. We have plans for the likes of ESS, MSS, SHEM etc. But for LSO I'm not sure how we can continue using that without the SAP Portal...especially when it comes to launching eLearning. It would be great if eLearning could be launched via the GUI and then we could use SAP Personas to customise.
If anyone else has any feedback/thoughts it would be great to hear from you 🙂

G'day Shaun,
I can't say I have much experience using 3rd party eLearning solutions with LSO, although if you do a bit of searching you will find others have explored that option - e.g. https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3954468
Given that the on-premise LSO solution isn't getting much love any more, I think most folks are looking towards the SF Learning suite these days.
Cheers,
John

G'day Shaun,
Do you require eLearning via the LSO Content Player? If so, you would need the portal for at least that part as that's typically where the LSOCP (Java) component is installed.
Regards,
John
