ME21 u2013 Existing PO u201Cextension optionu201D

Experts-

I realized that while creating PO with old tcode: ME21

On same document date if I create PO for same vendor with same purchasing group, system is giving me « Extension option ». That means, I can extend PO created earlier to add this new item.

There is no message number for this optionu2019s pop-up window.

I could not find similar functionality in ME21N. If you have come across this u201CExtension optionu201D, please let me know.
