Controlling and COPA document is not getting generated

Hello,

For one of our clients, when we do the standard cost estimate, if there is any price difference the PR document gets posted, During that document creation Controlling and COPA document is not getting created but the FI document is getting created.

We can see the document in FBL1N. for the same document Controlling and COPA document is not created.

On the same day, for some of the Price difference documents, Both COPA and Controlling document is created and for some of the documents it's not.

Would need valuable inputs to analyze it further.

check cost element creation.

if no stock exist than no price difference document will be posted.check stock too.

Hi

Looks like Cost element is not created for reval Account. During Cost estimate release, if Stock is available, then Price change document is posted to FI & CO. One leg goes to Inventory and another to Revaluation Account which is P&L Account. This P&L Account to be created as Cost element if you like to update Controlling. Check table T030 with Transaction = UMB against your Material Valuation class.
